A message from the Governor regarding the amendment of the Tokyo Metropolitan Ordinance on COVID-19 Measures.

We amended a Tokyo metropolitan ordinance to win the battle against COVID-19.
It stipulates that the people and businesses of Tokyo strive to cooperate in testing, contact tracing, and other such requests, and when testing positive, follow guidance such as hospital admission or stay at a designated hotel until recovery.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will boost efforts in areas such as:
Securing systems for provision of health care; building an environment for the recovery of patients with mild or no symptoms;
and providing information.
