Watch and Experience! Reconstruction of IWATE
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has created a 360-degree VR video that allows people who cannot visit the disaster-stricken area of the Great East Japan Earthquake to experience the revival of the disaster-stricken area with a sense of reality. Please take a look and enjoy the understanding and sympathy of the disaster-stricken area, as well as the “Reconstruction Olympics and Paralympics”, the philosophy of the Tokyo 2020 Games.

「命を守り、海と大地と共に生きる～二度と東日本大震災津波の悲しみをくり返さないために～」を展示テーマに、奇跡の一本松をはじめとする周辺の震災伝承施設とともに震災の事実と教訓を伝承し、震災を乗り越えて進む姿を、支援への感謝と共に発信する施設です。

○釜石魚河岸にぎわい館「魚河岸テラス」 （岩手県釜石市）
Kamaishi Uogashi lively hall ”UOGASHI terrace” （Iwate pref. Kamaishi City）
釜石市魚河岸地区周辺のにぎわい創出の拠点となり、「魚のまち釜石」を発信する施設です。2階飲食店では、広々とした自然に工業港が溶け込んだ釜石湾の景色を一望しながら地元の食材を使った食事を楽しめます。
”UOGASHI terrace” is a facility that creates a lively area around the coastal area of 　Kamaishi City and is a facility that transmits the “Kamaishi, a fish town”. At the restaurant on the second floor, you can enjoy a meal using local ingredients while overlooking the view of Kamaishi Bay, where the industrial harbor blends in with the spacious nature.

○釜石鵜住居復興スタジアム （岩手県釜石市）
Kamaishi Unosumai Memorial Stadium （Iwate pref. Kamaishi City）
釜石市鵜住居地区の復興のシンボルとして、震災で被害を受けた旧鵜住居小学校、釜石東中学校の跡地に建設され、ラグビーワールドカップ2019日本大会?の競技会場の一つになりました。
Kamaishi Unosumai Memorial Stadium was built on the site of the former Unosumai Elementary School and Kamaishi Higashi Junior High School, which were damaged by the earthquake, and has become one of the venues for the Rugby World Cup 2019 Japan Games ? as a symbol of the reconstruction of Kamaishi City.
