Construction of "Tokyo Aquatics Centre", which is the swimming, diving and artistic swimming venue for Olympics and swimming venue for Paralympic Games, was completed in February 2020. This video shows the lift-up procedure of the roof which was elevated three times by approximately 20 meters. This also shows other construction procedures including spectator stand, building frame works of the swimming pool, and interior/exterior under the lift-up roof.
It introduces the outward appearance with a slanting pillar which allows you to feel the characteristics of Japan, the interior ceiling, and the main pool, a sub-pool and diving platform used for international competitions.
